The cook is also responsible for menu planning, food shopping, and cooking for up to 10 adults in a short-term, psychiatric, residential setting.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pmLocation: Exton, PAProgram: Valley Creek Crisis Center, Residential Crisis Intervention ProgramPay Rate: $18 /hour Job Functions:
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to price food and supplies
Applying and maintaining high standards in cleanliness for kitchen and food prep equipment
Applying and maintaining high standards for meal production
Ability to plan and prepare meals on a quantity basis
Knowledge of the proper care and use of modern kitchen utensils and equipment
Knowledge and utilization of a wide variety of cooking ingredients
Other duties as assigned
