Your Next Career Opportunity – Operations Support Analyst I

The primary function of this position is to develop, maintain and optimize internal reporting for the Tower Network Operations Department. This position is also responsible for analyzing, interpreting data, and turning it into meaningful information that will provide insight into business decisions through data-driven analysis and manual process automation.

What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Support Manager with gathering and analyzing data from SBA’s internal applications and presenting long-term solutions.




• Assist the Operations Support Manager during the testing and implementation phases of new and existing business systems/processes.




• Act as the primary point of contact in providing static reports for the Tower Network Operations Department using SQL.  This includes extracting, cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for analysis.




• Maintain current and develop new PowerBI dashboards and reports using effective data visualizations and storytelling techniques to help stakeholders grasp key insights about the organization's processes and efficiencies.




• Work with the Operations Support Manager to define KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.




• Work closely with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze data. This involves extracting relevant information from various internal sources.




• Collaborate with business leaders to identify improvement opportunities and use analytic expertise to provide data-driven insights that drive business decisions.




• Other projects and duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

• 
  

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative discipline;

  
  
  
  

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience and analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. 

  
  

  • Demonstrated intermediate to expert knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, and Complex formulas).

  
  

  • Demonstrated intermediate knowledge and proficiency working with Microsoft Office PowerBI (Data visualizations, DAX, Storytelling). 

  
  

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IT and business concepts; ability to evaluate the impact of business changes on systems.
