The Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Center for Women's Health & Wellness offers a new model for women's healthcare on the Seacoast. The center brings together expert OB/GYN physicians and midwives, with specialists in maternal fetal medicine, along with nurse navigators to help women manage all aspects of their care.

The Opportunity



We are seeking an Ultrasonographer to support our Women's Health and Maternal Fetal Medicine providers. This is a per-diem opportunity with availability Monday through Friday at our practices located at 67 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH, as well as locations in Dover, NH. The operating hours of our practices are 8:00am-5:00pm, so shifts are staggered accordingly.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of Women's Health patients.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate ultrasound protocols.

  • Ensure the flawless operation of ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.






Qualifications

Qualifications




Required:



  • Graduate from an approved ultrasound training program, registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)(RDMS).

  • ARDMS within 1 year.

  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within the first 90 days of employment.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative manner.


Strongly Preferred:



  • ARDMS registered

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as RDMS in OBGYN/Women's Health specialty
