About the Role
The ACH Processing Associate performs accurate and timely electronic processing of customer files while collaborating closely with our Treasury associates to complete daily responsibilities. You can expect continuous training and collaborative idea sharing to allow you to achieve success in this role which can allow career growth opportunities within the department.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect and process electronic files from ACH customers.
- Monitor customer file balances from day-to-day to ensure consistency.
- Electronically return any errors, non-sufficient funds, or unauthorized transactions to the company/client.
- Set up and onboard new ACH clients.
- Periodically receive research requests from incoming emails/phone requests from our clients.
- Assist with completing Proof of Authorization requests.
Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of the banking system with previous experience in a banking environment.
- Combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency of the English language.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet daily deadlines, concentrate and work independently.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
