Job Description:
Budget Title: Senior Staff Associate (SL-5)
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
The director of Male Scholars Initiative, under the supervision of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, offers strategic direction to improve the academic success, retention, and graduation rate of undergraduate men at Binghamton University. The incoming director will use data-driven, research-based decision-making, and a strengths-based modeled approach to student success, and facilitate collaborations across campus to provide programs and services that proactively empower students to succeed and support the University's goals of increasing the retention, graduation, participation in high-impact practices, career outcomes, and wellbeing of male students. The director will work closely with the directors of Intercultural Affairs, Student Affairs, Student Transition and Success, Educational Opportunity Program and other university constituencies to build close collaborations with campus partners across divisions, including University Tutorial Services, Academic Affairs and advising offices, Financial Aid, Admissions, New Student Programs and others. The director also will help support the division's Vice President.
