Overview



The reimagined Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort will relaunch as The Sunny, Miami's new premier beachside retreat opening in late 2024. We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Food and Beverage Director to lead and elevate our dining experiences as we expand our food and beverage operations. This role will be critical in developing, implementing and managing multiple dining outlets within the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in FB management, a passion for culinary excellence and the ability to innovate and inspire the team.


The future Sunny in the heart of Sunny Isles Beach is poised to redefine the beach getaway experience offering a perfect blend of rich history and unparalleled amenities. The resort will feature 339 spacious guest rooms, an eclectic private art collection, six food and beverage outlets, a fitness center, spa & salon, ocean-front pool with tiki bar and fire pits, beach club, and over 22,000 square feet of event space, including a unique oceanfront terrace. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience


• 4+ years of experience in food and beverage management, hotels preferred


• Ability to interpret financial and operational data into operational plan


• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a team.


• Ability to create and execute unique food and beverage concepts.


• Knowledge of industry trends and techniques.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to manage budgets and achieve financial targets.


• Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
