Applications are being accepted for a Deputy Recorder, under the general supervision of the Clearwater County Recorder.

This position performs a variety of duties, including the filing, scanning and archival storage of all legal source documents affecting real estate in the County. This position makes independent decisions ensuring compliance with applicable Minnesota statutes and County policies. Communicate and answer questions, provide information, and explain recording principles to the public, title and abstract companies, attorneys, mortgage and lending institutions and other State, County and Federal agencies. This position assists the County Recorder in maintaining archival public records for all real estate in Clearwater County. Assists in the preparation of comprehensive reports and correspondence related to various activities to comply with reporting requirements. Assist with the issuance of MN Driver Licenses and marriage licenses.

Desired education requirements are a High School Diploma and two years experience in business and office procedures or related fields. Must be proficient in computer skills and will to learn various software applications.

This is a fulltime position with salary range of $21.25 - $27.69 with full benefits.
