The Western Tidewater Community Services Board (WTCSB) is seeking a dynamic, highly qualified professional to serve as its Executive Director
The Executive Director is accountable and directly responsible for the overall success of the Western Tidewater Community Services Board (WTCSB) operation, to include budgeting and reimbursement; payroll, employee recruitment, retention, benefits, training and compliance; quality assurance, risk management, licensure, Human Rights, and program evaluation; business development service enhancement, performance standards and metrics; and clinical service delivery, functions and supports to include community based behavioral health, developmental disability, regional crisis, and specialty project initiatives.
The Executive Director, who is responsible for all aspects of managing nearly 800 staff throughout the counties Isle of Wight and Southampton and the cities of Suffolk and Franklin, as well as regional services across the Greater Hampton/Tidewater Area, with an annual budget of $67 million plus, is employed under an annually renewable contract and reports directly to a twelve member Board of Directors.
The acceptable applicant must have an undergraduate degree, or its equivalent, in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or another human services-related field or in business, public health, or healthcare administration or another management-related field; a Masters is preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of senior administrative experience in rural and urban community healthcare is required, although 6-10 years is preferred. In addition, advanced technical expertise in contract development, service improvement, and performance standards, benchmarking and data collection is highly preferred. 3-5 years of experience in the administration of crisis programs and behavioral health and developmental services to youth and adults is required, 6-10 years is preferred. Proven experience with stakeholder involvement and accountability is required. Proven experience with fund and resource acquisition, billing, project oversight and business development is highly required

The salary for this position is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is accompanied by an attractive benefits package.
