Responsible for providing a high level of customer service, analysis and reporting to the business units on fixed assets topics including, but not limited to, AFE closures and myAFE/myBIT in accordance with corporate policy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the AFE closure process to ensure the timely closing of all projects.
Complete AFE closures
Research and allocate costs to appropriate assets.
Ensure values allocated are in-line with project and asset values.
Work with the Area/Project Managers to determine asset numbers used on project.
Coordinate with purchasing to resolve issues with POs/invoices.
Assist in creating new asset numbers for AFE/Project.
Provide assistance to areas for AFE training or issues in myAFE.
Train areas on the AFE closure process as needed.
Provide support to the areas in revising AFEs (Budget, Project Manager or Date changes)
Work with IT to resolve myAFE issues on the AFE closure process.
Assist in creating tickets for issues in myAFE.
Research and analyze AFE costs.
Other
Assist and prepare reports for Management.
Maintain documentation on AFE/myAFE processes.
Must be able to work overtime as required to meet assignment deadlines.
Assist and participate in special projects as needed.
Minimum Qualififications / Skills
Bachelors degree
2+ years relevant work experience
Strong analytical skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP data query skills
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Accounting/Finance/Project Management or related field
Drilling/Oilfield service industry experience with assets
Oracle/EIS/myBIT experience a plus
Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
