Insulet is on a mission to simplify life for people living with diabetes! We are looking for a UX Content Strategist to join our growing User Experience (UX) team to accomplish this mission. Apply your strategic, organizational, and creative skills to provide engaging, informative content vital for our products and customer experience. A strong background in content strategy or content production is a must.

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll partner with multiple cross-functional teams distributed across the country. The UX Content Strategist is responsible for the creation of long (technical documentation) and short- form UX content (microcopy). You'll use your editorial mastery to ensure all UX content stays on brand, adheres to our voice and tone, and follows all literacy level requirements.

This role works closely with UX Management to coordinate technical content production and strategy. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with significant experience contributing to innovation by connecting dots, building processes, and being flexible. They also exercise a balance of independent judgement and group organization in developing methods and processes to obtaining results.

Responsibilities


  • Create a compelling and empowering user experience through engaging, on-brand long and short-form UX content.

  • Strategize and define logic for copy across various projects.

  • Lead, execute and advise on UX content strategy.

  • Generate informative, engaging, and persuasive content in support of positive outcomes.

  • Ensure all content is consistent in terms of brand, style, voice and tone, quality, and literacy/grade levels across all products/platforms.

  • Collaborate frequently with cross-functional stakeholders, managing the revision process and any deadlines.

  • Propose process and tool improvements and support evaluating future tools.

  • Responsible for technical design documentation submissions into Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) systems and supporting reviewing the work of others.

  • Work closely with UX managers to identify impacts and coordinate content outputs for all products / platforms.

Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in UX content strategy or content production.

  • Experience in healthcare, medical device industry or another highly regulated industry.

  • Exceptional writing and editing capabilities.

  • Effective project management and multitasking skills.


  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and multiple projects though different stages of content production or strategy.

  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

  • The drive to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.

  • Familiarity with common design tools, language, and processes.

  • Passion for making a positive impact in people's lives.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Writing, English, Health or a similar field, from an accredited four- year university.

  • Immense flexibility: driving a focused approach while being able to pivot in a growing, fast-moving organization.

  • Passion for building and maintaining strong, positive relationships throughout the organization.

  • Extensive experience in content management solutions in a technical context (e.g. web and mobile apps).

  • Experience working in Jira, Confluence, Figma, Framer, Abstract, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools.

  • Understanding of Agile/SaFE planning processes (certification optional).

  • Demonstrated empathy for the audiences we serve.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional US travel, as needed (semi- annually)

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $112,400.00 - $168,950.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
