Job Description:

Position: Lineman, 3rd Class
Department: Electric

Lansdale Borough has an open position for a full-time Lineman, 3 rd Class in its Electric
Department. The position is responsible for working with high voltage electricity,
building and maintaining the Borough’s electric system, constructing poles and
hanging/repairing power lines, maintaining electric equipment, interacting with residents
to solve electric issues, maintaining/troubleshooting traffic signals and streetlights
throughout the Borough.

Minimum Qualifications
Must have completed four (4) years of electrical schooling from a vocational or trade
school; basic level of knowledge of electricity; must be able to satisfactorily complete
pole climbing course; must have a valid PA driver’s license and must be able to obtain
and maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL).
