We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Banking Center Manager position in Ste Geneveive, MO! The position works onsite Monday - Friday during typical banking hours of 8am-5pm, also responsible for rotation coverage for Saturday 8am-noon.

The Banking Center Manger directly supports the frontline staff for the bank. Ensures MRV Banks complies with the rules, regulations and statutory requirements that apply to retail banking. As a Banking Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall performance of a bank branch. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of banking services to customers while achieving business targets and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of banking professionals to create a positive and productive work environment while driving the success of the branch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and evaluate team for goal achievement.
    • Maintain trustworthiness, character, professionalism, confidentiality and honesty in dealing with internal or external customers.
    • Maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere in the banking center and ensures customers, prospective customers, MRV partners, vendors, community representatives and all others interacting with banking center staff receive exceptional customer service.
    • A knack for effectively prioritizing tasks and managing your time.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure excellent service, address concerns, and foster loyalty.
    • Support the bank’s strong relationship banking culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service and superior product knowledge.
  • Operations & Compliance:
    • Manage daily operations, ensure compliance, and mitigate risks.
    • Adhere to MRV Banks’ standards, supporting a favorable environment for open communication and addresses concerns or problems in an open manner.
  • Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze performance data and provide insights to management.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the bank in community events and promote brand.
  • Sales & Business Growth: Drive sales targets, identify opportunities, and expand customer base.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in banking and customer service
  • 2+ years of experience in supervising a team and training employees.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrative positive, helpful attitude toward both internal and external customers;
  • Good interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to use effective communication skills, understand procedures, and speak clearly to customers, employees and supervisors.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Prior banking management experience
  • Excellent understanding of the Bank’s products and services;
  • Proficient in business products (i.e. Cash Management, Remote Deposit Capture)
