Interior Designer at RossTarrant Architects in Lexington, Kentucky

Job Description:

RossTarrant Architects is seeking an experienced interior designer to collaborate with fellow interior designers, architects, and engineers on all types of educational projects. This position includes assisting design team members and clients with development of design solutions, research, and preparation of working drawings including sketches and presentations. In addition, the position includes the specification of finishes and color selections as well as the production of color schedules. The successful candidate should be able to be in the Lexington, Kentucky office an average of 3 days per week, with flexibility for remote/hybrid work an average of 2 days per week.

Applicants should demonstrate strong knowledge of the design delivery process, good common sense and articulate graphic and verbal communication and writing skills. Candidates should have a degree from a CIDA-accredited school and 5+ years of commercial interior design experience. Skills must include a working knowledge of Revit, Microsoft Word, Excel and rendering software.
