CRD continues to grow and is expanding its products in several new areas. The Director of Asset Management Product Strategy is a senior-level role helping drive market definition, positioning and go-to market strategy in the Asset Management segment of the industry. He/she will work globally across all of CRD's products and solutions. This is a hands-on role that will interact with both internal and external market participants, including customers, partners and industry analysts. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong, senior level product team and help drive delivery and success of a suite of new products in the financial marketplace.

You will be joining the Product Strategy team in Charles River Development (CRD). This Asset Management Product Strategy role is intended to serve as a key subject master expert and thought leader in this space for CRD.

Providing market analysis & serving as an "Industry Voice" for CRD and State Street
New Business Development & Partnerships
The following activities will span across each of the key areas noted above:
Interface with R&D, Business Development, Sales and Client to validate market demand and requirements
Work closely with Product, Sales and Clients to determine existing product gaps and the prioritization of future enhancements
Lead the effort for creating the marketing messaging for future solution
Support the client prospecting process to ensure accurate messaging
Validate potential revenue opportunity and potential adoption rate associated with future state solution and work across the organization to drive prioritization
Develop launch strategy and execute on global product launches of new products
Lead market research and identify customer problems and needs
Provide product marketing support for new product concepts ranging from market opportunity analysis to developing full-fledged business plans
Drive strategic industry analysis and competitive intelligence
Lead global product pricing strategy
Work with finance to analyze product profitability and sales success of all offerings
Lead and be accountable for cross functional success of all new product and solutions
Develop well rounded business cases to justify recommendations by developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the target market segments Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Economics, Master's in Business Administration preferred
10-15+ years of related experience
Strong candidates will have worked in asset management commercial software development.
Active contributor with high motivation, the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidance
Specific knowledge of the investment industry (financial instruments, front and middle office workflows, major players, macroeconomic influences, trends, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to identify, recommend, and position products and services to optimize revenue potential
Strong analytical skills, with ability to collect, absorb, and analyze information quickly and independently
Excellent executive communication (verbal and written) skills
Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to develop and manage cross functional processes and project timelines
Excellent follow-through, attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent ability to develop recommendations, form judgments and make decisions based on existing available data
Global product marketing or product strategy experience preferred
Salary Range: $170,000 - $267,500 Annual
