The Project Superintendent ensures the smooth execution of projects by managing field activities, scheduling crews and subcontractors, and overseeing the completion of contracted work from start to close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead multiple projects to maintain clean, safe work sites.
Ensure high performance, quality control, and productivity standards.
Supervise field activities and monitor subcontractor progress.
Set clear, attainable goals, mentor team members, and provide feedback.
Support business development by analyzing field-specific opportunities and managing client relationships.
Foster strong internal and external relationships across all divisions.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with municipal and IDOT projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
IL Driver's License with no restrictions; OSHA 30 certified.
Strong financial literacy and construction math skills.
Knowledge of equipment for heavy highway projects.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict management skills.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment with high integrity.
