Job Description:

The Data Warehouse Analyst is responsible for ensuring that there is optimal use of technology to meet business requirements. Provides support for existing applications, works on projects to enhance or replace existing applications, and builds or implements new packaged software applications. Ensures the data integrity and normalization of the data warehouse. Creates and maintains specialized calculations and complex reports. Exercises deductive reasoning and analytical abilities to transform data into a useable information format that would be applied to key decision making within the organization. Verifies that information is always delivered consistently and in a timely manner. Works with areas within the bank to define and document the scope and functional requirements for data and reporting needs. Develops and maintains the procedures and standards for the data warehouse usage and data dictionaries.

Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________


1. Ensures that there is optimal use of technology by assessing the need for custom and customized packaged software applications to meet business requirements.


2. Provides support for existing applications, works on projects to enhance or replace existing applications, and builds or implements new packaged software applications.


3. Works with the programming to build a normalized data warehouse.


4. Ensures the data integrity of the data warehouse.


5. Creates and maintains specialized calculations and complex reports.


6. Exercises deductive reasoning and analytical abilities to transform data into a useable information format that would be applied to key decision making within the organization.


7. Verifies that information is always delivered consistently and in a timely manner.


8. Works with areas within the bank to define and document the scope and functional requirements for data and reporting needs.


9. Develops and maintains the procedures and standards for the data warehouse usage and data dictionaries.


Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________


1. Bachelor's degree in a Business related field of study or equivalent and two (2) to four (4) years of related experience are required.


2. Proficiency in typing, reading, writing and grammar skills, analytical or mathematical skills, communications and interpersonal relations is required.


3. Basic computer skills are required; general knowledge of MS Office applications and proficiency in MS Word and Excel; knowledge of basic SQL programming language are required.


4. May be eligible for Telecommuting.
