Job Description:
Thinking Minds Inc.'s client is seeking a General Ledger SAP Process Lead Consultant. This role involves leading the design and implementation of SAP Finance & Controlling solutions while ensuring a fit-to-standard process approach. The consultant will work closely with finance and accounting teams to enhance global general ledger functions in SAP S/4HANA, aligning them with business objectives.

Ideal Candidate Should Have:
3+ years of SAP Financial and Controlling (FICO) experience
Deep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Cost & Profit Center Accounting, and SAP S/4HANA
Strong communication and project management skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
Experience with financial project management and troubleshooting
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with accounting and finance to define and translate business needs into SAP processes
Lead design workshops and sessions to configure a global general ledger solution using SAP S/4HANA
Optimize and improve financial and management accounting processes
Manage project teams focused on SAP Finance modules and support knowledge transfer to key users
Provide ongoing consultation on best practices and system improvements
Participate in testing, integration, and project cutover activities
Ensure a strong fit-to-standard core SAP S/4HANA deployment
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years in SAP Financials (FI/CO) with experience in modules like GL, New GL, AP, AR, and Profit Center Accounting
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling processes
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Project management experience with SAP Finance deployments
