Position Overview:
As a Development Officer Major Gifts, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our fundraising priorities to support the hospital's mission. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 150 donors, implementing strategic moves management to cultivate relationships, and secure vital support for hospital initiatives. Working closely with our Major Gifts team and reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, you will contribute to the attainment of our fundraising goals and foster lasting partnerships within our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Donor Management: Cultivate, solicit, and steward leadership gifts from individuals aligned with hospital priorities.
Collaborative Approach: Partner with the Major Gifts team to develop and implement effective fundraising programs and initiatives.
Effective Communication: Prepare compelling fundraising materials, including donor correspondence, solicitation proposals, and case statements to engage prospective donors.
Hours: Full-time position; Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Skills: Must demonstrate proficiency in establishing revenue goals, cultivating donor relationships, and achieving fundraising targets. Persuasive communication and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
