Your Role:
An Operation Technician at the EMD Electronic facility in Carlsbad, CA will work on the preparation of surfaces and the application of industrial coatings to the required standards while adhering to health, safety and environmental regulations. They will support operational requirements, achievement targets, and maintain records. Also, establish and maintain effective working relationships, communicate effectively, and work inclusively to deliver work within given specifications. Specific Responsibilities Include:
Understand the use of industrial ovens used in the coating of quartz bubblers
Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing environment.
Effectively use drawings and instructions to assemble vessels
Inspect vessels and documentation for correction and completion
Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
Conduct testing and inspections of quartz bubblers to evaluate quality
Understand the requirements in the work area, materials and equipment, and the possible consequences of incorrect actions
Understand their responsibilities for ensuring the care and security of tools and equipment used
Effectively use current technologies and company equipment to support work related tasks and to communicate information
Establish and maintain effective working relationships, communicate effectively, and work inclusively to deliver work within given specifications
Follow procedures and relevant codes of conduct with integrity
Physical Attributes:
Wear all PPE (gloves, apron, lab coat, safety shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection when needed.)
Stand for 4-6 hours
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to understand Safety Data Sheets and work instructions
Experience using Microsoft suite including (Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint)
Experience using SAP
Ability to use hand tools
Experience using power tools
Ability to excel in a team environment, as well as independently
Problem-solving skills
Well-organized and adherence to 5S
Pay Range for this position - $49,500 - $148,900
