Job Description Summary:
The Engagement Analyst supports engagement at PayPal in two key ways: engagement of PayPal Finance team members, and engagement for all teams at the Omaha location. The Analyst works within the Finance Business Operations team, which has responsibility for enabling an employee experience that embodies the values of PayPal. The role will split time between the team focus of global finance and the location focus for employees across all functions who are based in Omaha.
Supporting the finance team includes communication, training/development, interns, engagement, community impact, recognition, and new employee experiences. The Analyst supports these areas in a variety of ways, including developing relevant content on Sharepoint and other mediums, supporting templates and drafts for Finance communications, enabling enterprise-wide activities within Finance, and creating reporting for engagement activities.
Supporting the Omaha site includes communication, liaising with a variety of groups and committees (Employee Resource Groups, Community Impact, etc), event planning and execution, supporting site visitor processes for both external and internal visitors, and other activities to ensure an engaged Omaha team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with development of programs, events and training for the global finance team and all teams in Omaha
- Enhance the finance Sharepoint site to provide relevant, rotating content to connect finance team members to overall strategies within finance
- Support activities that foster an engaged culture throughout the global finance organization and local Omaha site, with a focus on connection amongst colleagues
- Support the Omaha site leader in local activities across events, committees, emergency planning, site needs and other activities to ensure a positive onsite experience for employees and engagement with virtual employees
- Participate in content development and review processes for training, sharepoint, and communication content
- Provide reporting for various engagement activities, including participation in programs, metrics for community impact, and other needs as they arise
- Champion a culture that supports the values of PayPal
- Serve as a key resource for Omaha groups, including Employee Resource Groups, Community Impact team, and other local site committees
- Create solutions to support communications, training/development, interns, new employee experience, DIEB, community impact, wellness, and recognition for Finance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong ability to listen and quickly pivot as business needs change
- Ability to navigate change in a complex, global environment
- Communication experience in a variety of formats, with a focus on written communication in a corporate setting
- Development of content for a variety of mediums, including newsletters, online sites and training programs
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in communication, training/development or other related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate ideas in presentations.
