Perrigo Nutritionals, located in Georgia, VT is looking to add a Lead Micro-ingredient Dispensary Unit (MIDU) Operator at our Georgia, VT facility. The shift for this position is Days, 5:54 AM - 6:06 PM requiring shift, weekend, and holiday work (when applicable). Scope of the Role Reports to the Supervisor, the Lead MIDU Operator will be responsible for supporting daily dispensing activities, cleaning (area and equipment), and maintenance; manual lifting; and computer inputting to support all dispensing needs and requirements. Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and State and Federal regulation. May participate as a Team member for CI, RCA, Safety, etc. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Daily dispensing (scheduled and unscheduled) to support the Production, NPPD, Contract Manufacturing schedules; also any MSO’s, QA samples and retests, etc. Precisely follows detailed written procedures and manufacturing instructions; Documents legibly, thoroughly, accurately, and completely. Uses CDS, SAP, and DCS computer software to perform daily tasks, able to perform same tasks and documentation manually when necessary. Performs MIDU consumptions in SAP, verifies inventories in SAP, releases etc. Calculates and orders daily raw materials as needed in SAP, from Warehouse, receives this material into 3WS and SAP manually. Cleans MIDU & other area/equipment as directed. Calculates strength-factor adjustments. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor; may be required to work short-notice overtime or short-notice shift changes as necessary. Experience Required Required Experience H.S. diploma or equivalent (GED) Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions. Ability to perform duties in a safe, efficient and sanitary manner. Ability to operate and navigate computer and various systems & applications. Preferred Experience Knowledge of GMP's and food allergens. Ability to demonstrate initiative, a commitment to quality, problem solving skills, dependability, and attention to detail. Must be well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work individually as well as with others as a team at all levels. Position Physical Requirements This position requires bending, stooping, and repetitive lifting up to 55 lbs. Standing, walking for 10+ hours of shift. Incumbent will be exposed to noise, cold temperatures (40°), warm temperatures (110°), strenuous physical activity, working at heights and/or in confined spaces. Candidate must be able to wear all required and necessary safety equipment and garments. Work from ladders, scaffolding and staging is required. Perrigo has a comprehensive benefits package.
