Job Description:

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an Accounting Assistant for a well-established client in the Hollywood, FL area. With almost eight decades of success, this client is seeking for an Accounting Assistant who will be responsible for maintaining precise and current records of accounts receivable and payable. This role demands strong multitasking abilities and an unwavering focus on accuracy. Exceptional organizational and time management skills are essential. Additionally, the assistant will offer administrative support to the accounting manager.






Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver clerical and accounting assistance to the finance department.

  • Accurately input data, prepare, and maintain financial records and documents.

  • Handle bank deposits, general ledger entries, and financial statements.

  • Perform timely reconciliation of accounts.





Requirements & Qualifications:





  • Demonstrated experience in accounting, specifically in managing receivables and payables.

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping fundamentals and basic accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in Sage accounting software is preferred.

  • Competence with spreadsheets and financial data management tools.

  • Keen attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

  • Strong numerical aptitude.

  • Ability to reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Capable of performing essential administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling mail.

  • Solid data entry and typing skills.

  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Must uphold integrity and maintain confidentiality.





Education & Experience:



  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least two years of relevant experience in an accounting role.

  • An associate's degree or professional certification in accounting is a plus.
