We are currently looking for a full-time Building Services Coordinator who can independently source, evaluate and price products and services impacting production. The Building Services Coordinator will provide administrative support and participate in the Safety and Food Safety programs, including document control and audit processes. The candidate will play an active role in projects impacting the maintenance department and the Battle Creek, MI facility.

When your actions lead to success.

• Maintains and updates electronic systems for maintenance work orders, delegates and tracks completion for KPI metrics.
• Place and maintain electronic purchase order records including pricing, delivery date verification, supplier acknowledgements, order receipts and order closures.
• When applicable, coordinate with Managers and Supervisors for the procurement of specialty items for the Battle Creek facilities operation. Expediting orders when required.
• Create new part numbers in the PRMS information system for the facility as required.
• Provide vendor account management coordinating the supplier evaluation process and preferred supplied designation.
• Conducts contractor training, maintains contractor database, apprenticeship records, vehicle and ITO licensing and documentation files.
• Manages MRO/Supplies procurement process for the facility.
• Provides support for maintenance employee timecards.
• Data entry, cataloging, and general record keeping in hard copy and electronic databases.

When your expertise drives us.

• Minimum of 2-4 years working in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills including Excel and other database systems.
• Ability to pass a hair follicle drug screen.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels in and outside of the organization.
• Possess good organizational skills and be able to work independently including effective time management skills and drive to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to handle fast-pace, multiple assignments and changing priorities.
• Possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
• Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
• Proficient in PRMS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, AS400.
