WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Peer Recovery services, which include but are not limited to crisis intervention, community outreach and engagement.
Assist clients in articulating personal goals for recovery and determining treatment objectives.
Observe the progress clients make toward meeting objectives and provide feedback to client and treatment providers.
Use personal life experiences as a recipient of services to model recovery and establish trusting relationships with clients.
Collaborate with the team to support a culture where experiences and preferences are recognized, understood, and respected.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
High School Diploma or GED required.
Certification as a Community Health Worker/Recovery Specialist required.
Work Schedule: Weekends only. Availability for any shift.
Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks and drug screen.
