Job Description:

As a Verification Specialist, you will support the Post Closing department by preparing collateral packages and confirming data accuracy prior to closing.


Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Verbally verify wiring instructions and accurately input data.
  
  


• Review E&O Insurance policies to ensure sufficient coverage.
  
  


• Verify closing agent status of title companies per closing protection letter (CPL).
  
  


• Responsible for locating borrower(s) social security number on Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems (MERS) database.
  
  


• Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.
