The Continuous Improvement Specialist Sr collaborates daily with other operating areas to set standards and operational risk limits for our business. Additionally, the safety & operational field provides significant support for all major projects and across the enterprise. This partnership provides the foundation to manage and maintain the operational focus that drives us from good to great!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
Leads sophisticated projects resulting in substantial business impact
Provides leadership to organizational performance and operational continuous improvement efforts
Identifies operational improvement opportunities, quantifies and develops value proposition, builds strategies to achieve opportunity objectives, and drives implementation of strategies into execution
Ensures new practices are implemented into ongoing practices; develops methodologies and facilitates continuous improvement techniques
Develops plans and metrics, sets goals and works with key business partners/subject matter specialists to ensure optimum productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
Required: Bachelor's degree; minimum seven (7) years' continuous improvement experience with a focus on operations and/or engineering
Preferred: Certification in Lean, Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies
Preferred: PMP certification
Other Requirements:
Needs proficient knowledge in continuous improvement/quality methodologies
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
