General Description | Reporting to the Executive Director, Student Support Initiatives, the Director, TRiO Student Support Services (TRiO SSS) oversees program planning, implementation, management, and evaluation of the TRiO Student Support Services Program. TRiO SSS is dedicated to empowering low-income, first-generation students, and students with disabilities to succeed in college and beyond. As Director, you’ll drive initiatives that boost student retention, graduation rates, and transfer success by ensuring TRiO students have access to academic advising, counseling, and development programs while championing cultural activities, workshops, and internships. You’ll also expand opportunities for scholarships, grants, and international study, building a community that supports student success and growth. The Director designs, implements, and supervises all activities, courses and programs in accordance with the project goals and objectives. The Project Director is responsible for all federal grant writing, reports and updates as they relate to the functioning of the grant, and ensuring the grant adheres to compliance components. The Project Director also manages a small caseload of students, utilizing STARFISH for tracking and data collection. The director oversees the day to day services provided to students via program and College resources. This is a grant-funded position.
