Senior Tax Accountant - HYBRID at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Alexandria, Virginia

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain work papers for IRS Form 990T and 1120 filings, including unrelated business activities and indirect overhead allocation.


• Prepare supporting work papers for business income tax filings (federal and state), including apportionment worksheets and tax models.


• Request and gather internal information from various departments across the company.


• Coordinate tax forecasting efforts and maintain Excel schedules.


• Stay informed about changes in corporate income tax forms, tax apportionment concepts, and accounting for income taxes.


• Review income tax forms prepared by external advisors, ensuring form requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or related


• 4+ years of tax accounting experience; experience within professional services or non-profit sector highly preferred


• Experience or working knowledge of IRS Form 990T, Form 1120, and relevant concepts.


• Advanced Excel skills
