Systems Engineer Product Owner (Engagment Operations)

We have successfully partnered finding technical talent for one of our most forward thinking engineering partners. Their company is focused on using their their size and talent to create nimble and unique solutions in Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Modeling & Simulation, Data Science & Analytics, Machine Learning, Energy, and Power Systems.



Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and validate software development for the Engagement Operations team, ensuring alignment with Systems Engineering concepts and algorithms.


• Collaborate with Program Management to set priorities for capabilities and defects for each product increment and sprint.


• Provide technical briefings and advisement to leadership on performance, risks, and impacts related to the IFMC mission.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: Bachelor's degree (ABET preferred) in engineering, sciences, or mathematics.


• 
  Clearance: Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.


• 
  Experience: Minimum 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience performing similar duties.


• Understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts, including threat evaluation, target selection, and sensor resource management.


• Ability to oversee EO software development and validate team outputs.


• Familiarity with Agile development processes and experience working directly with Agile software developers.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.


• 
  Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.


• 
  Desired Qualifications:
  
  
  
  
  
  • Familiarity with systems such as IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS, and experience with EO/FO implementations.
  
  
  • Prior experience as a Product Owner on a SCRUM team is a plus.
