Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 annually

Reports to: Accounting Manager/Controller

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the general ledger. As a Staff Accountant, you will assist in various accounting functions, including month-end close, financial analysis, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.


• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.


• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting.


• Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis.


• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.


• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.


• Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.


• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions when needed.


• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.


• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.


• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).


• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).


• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $34 - $38 per hr.
