What will you be doing?
In this client-facing analyst role, you will play a key part in driving business impact by utilizing Circana solutions to identify and measure opportunities for our retail clients. You will work closely with multiple client stakeholders across the business to drive growth. This includes developing a clear understanding of the business problem, designing the analytical approach, formulating, and testing hypotheses, synthesizing data findings into actionable insights, and developing tailor-made recommendations to present to clients.
About You
Successful candidates will have previous experience with and exposure to data analysis in a client-facing setting. This individual is energized by the "detective work" of discovering opportunities hidden inside each new business challenge. In addition, competitive candidates will bring a demonstrated track-record of creative problem-solving and the ability to create logical, concise, highly polished, and persuasive stories that create a call to action.
Job Responsibilities
Develop a high degree of proficiency in Circana proprietary capabilities, data sets, and solutions such as Unify, Intelligence Suite, Retail Advantage, Scan Panel, Loyalty Advantage, Customer Decision Trees, ShopperSights, and MicroMarkets, as well as MS Excel and Power Point. Understand how they work together to answer various types of business questions.
Design and execute complex analysis using large data sets and translate findings into actionable insights and fact-based recommendations that are meaningful and relevant to client business needs.
Proactively explore business issues or opportunities to bring new ideas that create value for clients.
Manage intake and execution of on-going analytic deliverables and new ad-hoc project requests, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage competing priorities, project scope, and ensuring all project deliverables and communications are timely, accurate, and highly polished.
Present findings, recommendations and rationale to internal teams and clients and field questions as own any post-meeting follow up actions or next steps as appropriate.
Cultivate a broad understanding of macro-economic, CPG industry, consumer retail trends and how they impact the client's business performance.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; present a professional and image.
Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind, ensuring timely follow through on commitments and that client needs are met.
Required Qualifications
Creative problem solver with strong critical thinking skills
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills
2-5 years' experience in a data analysis role, experience working with large data sets preferred
Relevant experience or knowledge of retail or the CPG industries desired
Undergraduate degree required, with a concentration in business, economics or another quantitative field preferred
Strong data visualization skills and experience working with data visualization solutions such as Tableau or Power BI
Advanced Excel and Power Point skills and experience

Location: Woonsocket, RI
This is a hybrid role which will work three days a week (Tue, Wed, and Thu) on-site at our client's corporate office, and so should reside within a commutable distance of Woonsocket, RI.
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $61,000.00 to $85,000.00.
