We are seeking a full-time ConsumerSales Manager of eCommerce Marketplace in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for managing new and current third-party seller accounts and consistently monitor third-party marketplace's, ensuring Garmin as a brand is represented correctly while continually developing, coordinating, presenting, and implementing product sales plans as a highly motivated sales professional.
Essential Functions
Responsible for overseeing strategic E-commerce accounts in the US, encompassing management of various aspects including service level metrics, sales, and continuous improvement efforts
Establish/maintain account relationships while overseeing all aspects of online ecommerce accounts
Develop/execute strategies to increase market share and profits
Monitor market for need to modify pricing to meet sales objectives and profit goals
Occasionally travel/attend trade shows and complete timely/succinct trip and status reports
Consistently monitor marketplaces where Garmin is sold such as but not limited to Amazon, eBay, Walmart.com, Newegg and Target.com - ensuring listings, pricing and promotions are correct
Monitor third-party seller information and assist with test buying from unauthorized sellers
Complete forms in a timely manner
Maintain excellent product, pricing, and marketplace knowledge
Manage large accounts with excellent project skills
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 1 year experience in sales and marketing with a proven track record in meeting sales targets OR a minimum of 5 years equivalent combination of education and relevant experience performing essential functions of this role
Experience may include outside sales, retail sales, sales into a retail environment, or third-party marketplace sales (Amazon, eBay, Walmart.com)
Demonstrates proven track record of sales successes, including meeting or exceeding past sales goals
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet Garmin's market launch requirements, while maintaining high quality standards
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
Demonstrated articulate and fluent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and demonstrates ease with public speaking
Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Superior organizational/analytical skills with keen attention to detail/quality and must demonstrate self-motivation
Desired Qualifications
Internal Garmin experience as an ISR, Senior ISR, RTS, Senior RTS, or ASM
Experience in consumer electronics, cellular/wireless distribution or marine/recreational marketplace
Early technology adopter with understanding of the CE marketplace
Excellent product knowledge of communication and navigation systems
Personal experience in hunting, hiking, outdoor or fitness activities
