The Opportunity
Responsible for the loading and unloading of fluid volumes received at Saraland facility, including actual movements of volumes and quality of fluids moved. Transfer and oversee material and product in tanks assigned within tank farm to include daily inventory, sampling tanks and monitoring inventory. Directly responsible for compliance, quality and image of operations and appearance of truck bay, pump room and containment areas for designated tanks.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload fluid volumes, efficiently and in compliance with all regulations and company procedure
Assist with planning and implementing production schedules so that both quantity and efficiency can be achieved
Maintain facility so that quality products efficient processing and a professional appearance are always achieved
Manage inventory, conduct blending operations and ensure the quality and consistency are to standard
Transfer tanks as directed
Maintain and operate all pumps within the pump room to ensure efficiency of all daily activities
Assist the shift supervisor in maintaining plant supplies and repair parts
Find ways to improve the quality of finished products and efficiency in all liquid transfers and movements so the annual assumptions and budget can be achieved or exceeded
This position will cross train with the following positions: Lab Tech, Lead Operator, and Process Tech
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent experience
One to three years of hazardous waste or oil industry experience is desirable
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check are required
