Job Description:
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Paralegal.
Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 3 months
Location: Neenah, WI, Chicago, IL
As a Paralegal, you will:
- Ensuring all marketing materials comply with legal standards.
- Reviewing and analyzing marketing content, including advertisements, social media posts, and promotional materials, to ensure compliance with legal guidelines.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to marketing and advertising compliance.
- Providing training and support to the marketing team on legal requirements and best practices for advertising.
- Monitoring and staying updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting marketing and advertising. Communicate relevant updates to the legal and marketing teams.
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts related to marketing activities, including agreements with advertising agencies and influencers.
- Assisting in the preparation of legal documents and evidence for any litigation or regulatory inquiries related to marketing practices.
- Maintaining organized records of all compliance activities, including approvals, audits, and training sessions.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on marketing regulations and advertising compliance preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of legal marketing regulations, including FTC guidelines, and other relevant marketing laws.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software, as well as standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite.)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
