• 5 days in office mandatory

Project Summary: Support the Confirmations Group within the CIB Operations team, assisting with day-to-day operations. This team documents derivative trades across all asset classes.


Responsibilities:

• Draft and verify the accuracy and completeness of confirmations for various products and business lines, including commodity derivatives, credit derivatives, equity derivatives, rates derivatives, and foreign exchange.


• Minimize financial losses by identifying and resolving trade capture errors, reconciling trade activity between the system of record and trade-related documentation, and ensuring all economic terms and necessary protective and fallback clauses are confirmed.


• Serve as a liaison with all lines of business, internal legal, and compliance departments to develop or revise confirmation templates in compliance with regulatory requirements.


• Support complex U.S. securities or over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives transactions.


• Stay informed and aid the team's compliance with regulatory, tax-related, and asset class-specific market developments by participating in internal and ISDA-organized working groups.


• Seek opportunities to improve processes, controls, and procedures to enhance efficiencies, deepen the team's understanding of products, and mitigate risk.


• Partner with the project team to develop requirements for system enhancements and assist with user acceptance testing.

Top Skills:

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Excel


• Strong knowledge and understanding of derivative products with experience in drafting OTC Confirmations

Soft Skills:

• Detail-oriented


• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


• Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Derivatives Confirmation processing


• Capital Markets Operations experience


• Knowledge of OTC Derivatives or ISDA

Experience:

• Finance or banking experience is a plus


• Experience with other trading houses (e.g., Vanguard)
