Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and accuracy of LACT unit crude oil measurement equipment within an area that ranges from Carpenter, WY to Platteville, CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment including but not limited to flow computers, Coriolis meters, automated ball proving systems, automated crude oil sample systems, contaminant analyzers, SCADA equipment, regulators, and transducers. Required to respond to after hour "call outs" due to equipment and/or operational problems and must be willing to work overtime on an as needed basis. Living environs may be negotiable and will be relevant to the work location to address call outs and emergency response.Minimum requirements:
Education:
Associate's degree from an accredited institution in a technical field or a related discipline.
Relevant work experience that has developed equivalent technical/measurement related skills may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience/Specific Knowledge:
Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Math skills relevant to the position (i.e., volume corrections, identify & resolve balance issues, blending calculations, etc.).
Working knowledge of the National Electric Codes.
Familiarity with API petroleum measurement standards.
Good record of safe work practices.
Knowledge of PHMSA regulations
Knowledge and experience with safe handling practices of product.
Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, electronic, and electrical equipment and controls.
Proficient with electronic test instruments.
Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment used in product measurement and control.
Knowledge of crude oil sample systems.
Knowledge of onsite and third part laboratory tests and analysis of crude oil.
Working knowledge of various components of measurement bias and error.
Working knowledge of revenue streams associated with meter stations within area of responsibility.
Interface directly with customers and provide a high degree of satisfaction and confidence that accurate measurement is taking place.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties and applicable to the job classification.
Completion of any site-specific technical training may be applicable.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Above the minimum requirements, not required but advantageous in this position:
Experience with natural gas and NGL measurement including but not limited to electronic flow measurement computers, gas and liquid chromatographs, gas/liquid quality analyzers, SCADA equipment, electronic and pneumatic controllers, regulators, OPP and transducers.
Working knowledge of the overall natural gas and NGL industry pipelines, compression, pumps stations, and peripheral equipment.
Working knowledge of AGA, API, and GPA standards applicable to natural gas and NGL measurement.
Working knowledge of National Electrical Code philosophies and installation requirements.
Experience with computer interface software, networking, and data file management.

Install, inspect, test, adjust, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate crude oil measurement & control equipment, automated ball proving systems, automated crude oil sample systems, contaminant analyzers, and SCADA equipment.
Detect problems with measurement equipment, sample system equipment, and prover system equipment making corrections to volumes as needed and provide supporting documentation.
Schedule the proving of company meters using third party contract proving companies.
Monitor product volumes through the measurement system and ensure all volume and product quality corrections are applied correctly.
Interpret and apply electrical and electronic schematics pertaining to oil measurement equipment.
Assess all facets of assigned facilities to ensure accurate measurement and maintaining the product "lost and unaccounted for" with a high degree of ownership and within the established corporate goals.
Perform audits of custody transfer and control data when necessary.
Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed.
Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties.
Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork.
Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements.
