Ohio Wesleyan University (owu.edu) is a selective, private, undergraduate liberal arts, residential institution founded in 1842 and is located just 20 miles north of Columbus. The Office of Accounting is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst, this is a full-time, hourly and benefit eligible position.
Responsibilities:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst reports to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for Student Accounts, Receivables, Cashiering, and various accounting functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with Student Billing and payment processes.
Communicating with past due account holders.
Posting daily cash receipts.
Depositing cash and checks, and tracking miscellaneous A/R.
Qualifications:
The AR analyst must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. The candidate must have two years of similar professional experience. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus. An associate's degree is preferred.

Able to complete tasks with frequent interruptions from walk-ins.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Some experience with Excel formulas and functions.

Ability to work collegially with students and University faculty and staff.
