The Collision Equipment Repair Technician will perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of welding and vehicle body measuring equipment in our Car-O-Liner distribution & service center.

Responsibilities
Perform warranty and non-warranty repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance of Car-O-Liner products in accordance with manufacturers requirements and procedures.
Make recommendations to improve and enhance products and work with internal and external sources to resolve problems.
Support product inquiries and investigations by working closely with Engineering and Sales personnel as products are developed and provided to Client.
Document service repairs. Perform data entry into service system as required.
Coordinate service activities on assigned products.
Act as a resource for others as needed.
Keep abreast with industry standards and emerging technology.
Participate in special projects as needed.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Maintain a safe work area through example.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Strong mechanical ability and basic equipment repair skills
Moderate understanding of Electronics - (preferred, but not required)
Keen problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Customer focused.
Ability to learn a broad range of products across multiple product lines.
Strong mechanical ability and equipment repair skills with use of hand tools and basic electronic testing equipment.
Computer skills: Basic proficiency with Windows operating systems, as well as Office 365, experience in using Service Ticket systems (Freshdesk - preferred but not required)
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, including technical writing skills
Attention to detail.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations, customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to lift to 40lbs (18kg)
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
