Job Description:
Design and implement manufacturing processes, equipment (pilot to fully operational), and optimizes procedures to achieve production goals.
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods consistent with the principles of scientific mold and process control.
- Manage plant, equipment, and process improvement projects, as assigned.
- Manage the process to optimize press cycle time and consistency.
- Assist in the development and manufacture of new tools to minimize 'time to market' while maximizing cost effectiveness.
- Collaborate with operations, technical and hourly personnel to optimize processes.
- Participate in the selection of processes and mold design considerations for new products.
- Promote LEAF and employee engagement activities to create and maintain a positive work environment.
- Lead various scrap improvement activities.
Education requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or sufficient experience equivalent
- RJG Training Certifications - Master Molder 1&2
