Manager, Maintenance at ORBIS Corporation in Osage City, Kansas

Job Description:

Manages all aspects of the technical department including managing maintenance costs, contractor-performed maintenance, regular and preventive maintenance, and new equipment installations. Supervises a team of 10 employees.

• Build and lead a cohesive team for technical employees focused on company objectives of safety, quality, service, and efficiency.


• Drive and apply lean principles to the maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase the throughput.


• Use data collection processes to evaluate unplanned downtime and implement corrective actions.


• Maintain monthly R&M spend for the facility.


• Organize and track capital projects.


• Maintain production standards and measurement systems as required.


• Promote employee engagement activities to create and maintain a positive work environment.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
