***This role is hybrid and may require 2 to 3 days per month in the King of Prussia, PA office for on-site collaboration.***
We are looking for a motivated corporate financial planning and analysis manager, ready to take the next step in their career. This role provides support to the Finance & Risk Management team to implement financial and risk management strategy through effective financial analysis and business insight. This position will provide proactive institutional financial management to maximize the organization's use of available resources to support growth in alignment with The College's mission and values. Management and tracking of College’s entire budget and forecast processes and resource allocations, including related analyses, to provide short term and long-term financial planning for The College. Engagement of non-finance functions to help understand and communicate financial goals, processes, and targets to help ensure financial planning accuracy. This position reports directly to the VP, Deputy Chief Financial Risk Officer & Treasurer.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Support consistent, efficient financial operations for The College that are both scalable and reliable.
Lead and transform the Financial Planning and Analysis function for the College, principally through the forecasting and budgeting cycles, customer and program analyses, and other ad hoc modeling, including identification of efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Perform financial and business analyses for the institution, providing meaningful, actionable insights and timely reporting designed to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Subject matter expert on critical financial applications: Oracle NetSuite ERP (the financial system of record), and Oracle PBCS (the financial planning and analysis application).
Resource for other related applications: Tableau (reporting and data analysis application) and Peoplesoft (Student Information System).
Represent the Finance team cross-functionally on task forces and special project teams.
Assist in managing the liquidity profile for the College’s long-term planning to ensure adequate and sustainable funding for operations.
Assist in the resource and capital allocation processes to maximize value to the institution.
Assist with pricing, operational and cost strategies for The College to maximize the long-term health and growth of the institution.
Manage weekly revenue reporting and analysis.
Support the monthly close and annual reporting cycles through preparation and distribution of internal financial analysis and due diligence.
Support the quarterly Strategic KPI meetings, and Board of Trustees and related Committees’ meeting cycle, through materials preparation and analyses.
Educate and communicate financial acumen to the various College functions.
Supports the enterprise insurance strategy to mitigate risks.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate finance or accounting, financial planning & analysis, or capital markets, in complex and sophisticated organizations, or publicly traded companies
Experience using financial system applications or quantitative tools, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, datamining tools, or business intelligence software
Proficiency in Microsoft® Office including advanced Excel skills
Ability to model complex transactions and forecast cash flows
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely to a wide range of internal and external constituencies
Keen analytical skills with business acumen, strong leadership, and a bias toward action
Strong work ethic, team player; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly Desirable:
MBA or related master’s degree in science disciplines
CFA, or CPA, highly preferred
Understanding of Oracle NetSuite ERP, a plus
Understanding of Non-Profit Accounting, a plus
Public company related experience, a plus
Experience in leading projects to successful delivery, a plus

Salary Grade Minimum: $106,000.00 - Salary Grade Midpoint $137,800.00 ***The starting base salary is determined based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, internal equity, departmental budgets, qualifications, licenses, specialty, and training.
