The Department of Radiology at Stanford School of Medicine is searching for a full-time radiologist in Body/Abdominal Imaging. This faculty search is open rank and the appointment would be in the Clinician Educator Line, University Medical Line, or University Tenure Line. The predominant criterion for appointment in the University Tenure Line is a major commitment to research and teaching. The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated exceptional qualities and promise as a clinician, teacher, and, if applicable, as an outstanding investigator. Candidates should have an MD or MD/PhD degree(s) or equivalent, must be board-certified in diagnostic radiology or equivalent training, have completed a formal fellowship in body or abdominal imaging or a related sub-specialty, and, if applicable, have shown an outstanding track record of research productivity. Research can include all aspects of body imaging, including clinical, translational, or basic science, as well as computational science and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities of the new faculty will include clinical interpretation of body CT, ultrasound, MRI, and fluoroscopy/plain film exams, ultrasound guided biopsies, tumor boards, participation in the on-call service of the Department, education of medical students, residents, and body imaging fellows, as well as a significant research/scholarship commitment, if applicable. The Department of Radiology at Stanford is currently expanding, with significant growth in both the clinical divisions and translational sciences. Exceptional research opportunities exist within the Department, the School of Medicine, and the University which are co-located on the same campus. Research is also facilitated by the two hospitals on the main campus and an active, expanding clinical program featuring several new out-patient imaging centers all with the latest generation equipment.

Salary Range:
The expected base pay range for this position is:
Clinical Instructor: $375,000 - $381,000
Clinical Assistant Professor: $390,000 - $408,000
Clinical Associate Professor: $423,000 - $441,000
Clinical Professor: $461,000 - $479,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine's faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
