What we need:



The Sr Compensation Analyst is a high performing contributor that serves as a subject matter expert and consultant to the Flooring North America business within the global Compensation function. This role will lead research and analysis related to our compensation programs and structures, consult on compensation policies, and practices and collaborate with Human Resources partners on compensation decisions.



What you'll do:




  • Work with HR business partners, recruiting teams, and department leaders to address compensation-related questions and provide guidance on compensation policies and procedures.
  • Consult with and advise business unit HR stakeholders on compensation policy interpretation, new hire offers, promotions, market analyses, job evaluations, and other compensation projects and initiatives.
  • Lead the technical aspects of various compensation projects, including conducting studies, modeling scenarios, preparing presentations, performing impact analyses, calculating costs, generating ad hoc data reports, and providing training.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of compensation programs by evaluating job roles, market conditions, and internal data to ensure the company's compensation structure remains competitive.
  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze market data to benchmark positions and make informed recommendations on salary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with HR and department leaders to evaluate job descriptions and determine appropriate job classifications and levels.
  • Conduct market pricing analysis to ensure jobs are accurately positioned in the appropriate pay ranges and recommend adjustments where necessary.
  • Prepare reports and conduct audits to ensure compensation programs comply with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide compensation training and support to human resources, helping them understand compensation philosophy, programs, and processes.
  • Prepare ad-hoc compensation analyses as requested by HR business partners and leaders.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects, such as pay equity studies, compensation policy updates, and the implementation of new compensation tools or systems.
  • Play a key role in supporting annual compensation programs.
  • Continuously review and enhance compensation processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, representing the Compensation team.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required.



What you have:




  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of compensation practices (job analysis, documentation, evaluation, equity review, market pricing, merit, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, V-lookups, and creating dashboards.
