The Project Manager will work with project sponsors, key stakeholders and resource managers to plan, coordinate and execute projects. He/she will be responsible for managing small to mid scale projects with direction from the Americas Services Project Management Office (\"PMO\") Manager and will manage project teams to ensure that projects are executed in alignment with goals and deliverables defined by leadership. Responsibilities
Leads projects and project teams as assigned by PMO Manager; Responsible for building and leading project teams and building strong sponsor, stakeholder, vendor, customer, and team relationships; Leads project delivery resources/teams, providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals. Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep project sponsor, key stakeholders and project team members informed.
Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
Facilitates project meetings; Responsible for tracking project status and managing project issues and risks to include evaluation of progress/quality and developing action plans to address gaps throughout project life cycle.
Implements project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
Ensures project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.
Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure Client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, schedule, quality and risk with management support.
Implements standard risk management routines with management support, to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Qualifications
3+ years of project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior project management experience or proven success and experience managing projects of increased responsibility.
Knowledge of multifamily and/or commercial real estate industry is helpful.
Advance skills with Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate knowledge in Smartsheet is helpful.
