Volt is immediately hiring for a Screw Machine Operators in Lake Forest, CA
As a Screw Machine Operator you will:
Setup machines/Assist Operators with Setup
Select cutting tools, and work-holding solutions
Run Citizen Swiss Lathes (M-Series, L-Series), CAV, and Tryton Barloaders
Experience with Precipitation Hardened Stainless Steels, feeds, and speeds
Run the first article inspection
Perform in-process inspection
Attention to detail, the medical device requires detailed paperwork and traceability
Assist with program optimization to meet quality/production goals
Keep workplace organized
Versed in various measuring tools (indicators, micrometers, calipers, optical comparator)
Fill out the work order and quality data
This is a Full-Time temp-to-hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
1-2 years of experience as a CNC Screw Machine Operator
Medical device experience is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to preform first-article inspection and In-process inspection
Knowledge and experience with precipitation hardened stainless-steels, feeds and speeds
Experience completing work orders and quality data
Experience with "Citizen" Swiss Lathe (M-series, L-series), CAV
Tryton Barloaders
Schedule: Monday to Saturday 2nd Shift
Mon-Fri: 3:15pm to 12:45am
Saturday: 12:30pm to 8pm
Pay Rate: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
