Judge Healthcare is seeking an Special Education Teacher for an opening in Haworth, NJ for a fantastic school district!


Type: Contract- school year!


Hours: Mon- Fri School hours


Pay: Flexible and based on experience


Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive classroom environment.



Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  
  


• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
  
  


• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
  
  


• Assess students' skills and learning requirements.
  
  


• Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to parents and guardians.
  
  


• Create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and learning.
  
  


• Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and strategies to accommodate different learning styles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
  
  


• Valid New Jersey teaching certification in Special Education.
  
  


• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
  
  


• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  
  


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  


• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
