This posting is for a Waubonsee Works Paid Work Experience at a partner company. Waubonsee Works Paid Work Experiences (PWEs) are funded bythe Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, in conjunction with the KaneCounty Office of Community Reinvestment. All applicants must be certifiedWaubonsee Works participants to be considered for these positions.


Waubonsee Works PWEs are meant to provide Waubonsee Works participants relevant industry workexperiences that will increase their employability, improve their soft skills,and allow them to explore the career path they are most interested in.

Keith's Car Care in Oswego, IL
Local Business in Montgomery, IL
Local Manufacturers in and aroundAurora, IL
Other partner companies in the WIOAservice provider network


Waubonsee Works students must apply to this post to beconsidered for a PWE. Paid Work Experiences last 12 weeks, with a maximum of 20hours per week, and pay between $13 and $16 per hour. Participating companiesand departments will work around student's schedules; however, participants areexpected to arrive on time and appropriately attired for each scheduled shiftof their PWE.  Financial assistance isavailable to help cover the costs of attire and transportation.
Participants will be required to assist in Waubonsee Worksevents and workshops as directed by their Advisors and are expected to maintainpassing grades in their classes during the experience.



Minimum Qualifications


Must be a participant of the Waubonsee Works ProgramAbility to follow directions and pay close attention to detailsGood oral and written communication skillsBasic computer skills required
