Responsibilities:
Assist in procurement processes, supporting procurement agents with data collection, analysis, and low-value procurement tasks.
Prepare basic charts and reports for procurement agents and management, ensuring effective analysis of supplier costs, delivery, and quality.
Perform procurement tasks under management supervision, focusing on low-value, non-complex procurements and releases under existing strategic agreements.
Enter, update, and maintain procurement data in various systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Collect and organize data from multiple sources for evaluation of procurement processes and performance.
Support procurement operations by scheduling meetings, recording minutes, processing forms, and handling administrative duties.
Communicate with suppliers, procurement agents, and internal teams to resolve issues such as quotes, billing, contracts, and discrepancies.
Assist in preparing and distributing procurement documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications, statements of work) to suppliers to ensure contractual requirements are clear and met.
Provide mentorship and support to less experienced procurement coordinators, assisting with higher-value procurement tasks.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to pass a credit check.
Experience in procurement or purchasing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with procurement processes, contract structure, and change management.
Strong analytical skills, including research methods, problem solving, and strategic decision-making.
