Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified individual to join our team as a Course Developer/Instructor specializing in Defensive Cyber Operations within space operations. This role also serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Cyber Operations integration, contributing to our diverse and expert workforce.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing training courses and content tailored to the National Space Defense Center (NSDC) mission. They will deliver and facilitate training in both classroom and operational environments, ensuring the creation and implementation of standardized procedures related to NSDC operations.
In addition to instructional duties, the candidate will provide on-site technical expertise and guidance in Cyber Operations. This includes defining the roles and responsibilities of cyber operators and overseeing Cyber Range Operations, with a focus on integrating Defensive Cyber Operations within an operational setting.
Compensation Minimum: $185,000
Compensation Maximum: $200,000

Skills / Experience Required
Current Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartment Information) Eligibility
10+ years' experience in an SAP/SCI environment and worked in this environment within the last five years
May be required to consent to and successfully complete a Government Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph
10+ years of Cyber Operations and/or planning
10+ years of Cyber Training and/or Evaluations in a classroom and simulator environment
Develop, refine and update training courseware based on instructor observation and student feedback
Participate and support lesson-learned meetings and discussions to enhance instructorship based and training events and exercises
Support a Tier Combatant Command exercise to validate training and revise training
Produce monthly status reports about on-going and up-coming events
Provide recommendations to senior leadership to help ensure mission success

Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
