Job Responsibilities
TTC's Automotive Technology program prepares students to become certified in each specialty area by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). The program is taught by ASE Master Automotive Technicians and includes the most up-to-date training.
This position requires a bachelor's degree or an associate degree in automotive technology or a related field AND current ASE master automobile technician certification. Applicants are required to submit certifications with the application. A valid South Carolina driver's license is also required.
Preferred QualificationsTwo (2) years of teaching and work experience in the automotive technology career field are preferred. Preference will also be given to candidates with a documented electric vehicle (BEV or PHEVE), automatic transmission experience, and/or engine management and engine repair expertise. Candidate must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of software applications. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
